Mumbai, July 3 (IANS) Singer Armaan Malik says it is heartening to see established artistes sharing other artistes songs, and applauded musicians like Raftaar and Guru Randhawa for lending support to new music.

"It's heartening to see established artists sharing other artists' songs! The only ones I know who always make sure that they support new music are @Its_Badshah @raftaarmusic and @GuruOfficial!" Armaan tweeted.

He added that when he started out, he waited for establish personalities to promote his music.

"When we started out we all used to just wait for someone big to share/tweet our music. Let's be that 'someone BIG' for the artists who are starting out! Let's #BeTheChange," he said.

The singer, son of composer Daboo Malik, started his playback career as a child singer in films such as "Taare Zameen Par" and "Bhoothnath". When he was 18, he released his debut album "Armaan" and also lent his voice to the song "Tumko to aana hi tha" in the 2014 Salman Khan-starrer "Jai Ho".
