Please Help - I am on H4 and facing difficulty in getting issue ID or paperwork for license due to absence of SSN number. I have gone twice at Bellevue Licensng office & once At Renton office for getting ID. They take my information and photograph and tell me that a document will be mailed to my address which I have to fill and mail them. In that document they ask the phone no. and best time to call me. Twice I have given them but each time when I inquire they say, they tried twice but no one answered , the application is cancelled and should re-apply. But in actual I havent received any call, I have caller ID in my phone and moreover I was very cautious to be at home during that period. Its really strange and its making me mentally upset as I couldnt drive due to this.I request if somebody has gone thru such problem or have some knowledge of getting out of this.
Well, this is the exact procedure to undergo if you dont have an SSN number, we did the same. They call to let you know of an appointment date and time.I would suggest you to give a cell phone number instead of a landline. Also, check your voicemail, they do leave a VM. hope this helps U.
